Tournaments played in 2000...
New Jersey:
Despite strong competition MINCS won one game in New Jersey on the 29th July 2000 and also came very close to winning two others! Fantastic effort!
Manhattan Black managed to win 3 out of 7 games in Brooklyn on the 19th of August. Manhattan Blue also played extremely well, just falling short of winning several games - inlcuding one against Manhattan Black.
Virginia Beach:
One Manhattan team travelled to Virginia Beach where they won our FIRST TROPHY for the club for "Most Disciplined Team!" Excellent!
Brooklyn:
Two MINC teams played in Brooklyn, on the 9th September 2000, where the black team again managed to come through several times, and the Blue team had some very close battles.
Fort Lauderdale:
One Manhattan team travelled to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to compete in Florida's Annual Netball tournament. Teams also flew in from Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago for this big two day event. Manhattan won several games, Rita Vergano was voted MVP for Manhattan and Ros Coffey and Rita Vergano came in second in a goal shooting contest against 40 other teams. Way to go!!

Brooklyn, May 2001:
MINC sent two teams to this tournament and both played very well and had a few wins despite tough competition. For photos and scores from this tournament click here.
