Seems we've finally hit the big time! Our lives will never be the same again. We'll be unable to walk down the street without being mobbed by crazed fans!!

Updated training info: Our last training session of the year will be held this Wednesday, November 11th from 6:30 - 8:30pm at the Martin Luther King High School. It's located at 122 Amsterdam Avenue between 65th & 66th Streets, with the entrance on 65th & Amsterdam.Please sign in at security and proceed to the Main Gym, 2 floors down.

Our annual BBQ at the great Aussie bar 8 Mile Creek was a huge success. It was beautiful weather and we drew a huge number of MINCers, partners, friends, admirers…and we were even supported by the local footie, rugby and hockey teams! more...

Recently we were approached by Dan Macht who is a student studying journalism at the City University, New York's Graduate School of Journalism. He tells a good story of why we continue to play this game so far away from our homes and why we have Netball passion! Dan spent a couple of evenings at our training sessions and then followed us to our first NYC tournament of the season. Read here for more on "our" story... Thanks to Dan for taking an interest.

We ended our season on a high, with a tournie in Miami! Luckily it was an indoor tournament, as the weather was in the 90s and extremely humid. Phew! more...

We had another fantastic year in the Connecticut Tournament, our own Lisa Brady won MVP of the day! Well done, Lisa!

We will be celebrating the end of a busy, netball-packed year on December 4. Partners and friends are welcome, as always! Please let Drinky know if you can make it so we can nail down numbers. More details to follow…

We took the opportunity to kick back together on October 2 and have a few drinks at The Australian. The Australian in midtown (another great Aussie bar) has been really good to our club, even through some tough economic times, so we were pleased to return the favour. All three MINC squads turned out in force, together with a good crowd of partners and friends. We were also able to give our coach Rebecca and her new hubby Dave, their wedding present from the MINC ladies :)
